Movie theaters in Lebanon have begun screening Iranian feature ‘Stranger’ (Gharib).

‘Stranger’, written by Hamed Anqa, is being screened in four cinemas in Lebanon.

The film will be screened in the capital Beirut for a month and will later be screened in Lebanese cities that lack cinemas.

The film’s director Mohammad Hossein Latifi, Iran’s cultural attaché to Lebanon, and a number of Lebanese artists, attended the premiere of the film in the Arab country.

The premiere of ‘Stranger’ was well received by audience.

The film is about Martyr Mohammad Boroujerdi who lost his life during Iraq’s imposed war on Iran in the 1980s.

‘Stranger’ is starring Babak Hamidiyan.

The movie won several awards at various film festivals, including Fajr Film Festival and Resistance International Film Festival in Iran.
